Hey music enthusiasts and adventure seekers! I’m Jay John Clemonts, from the tender age of four, I knew I was destined to “play muzic,” and ever since, I’ve been on a joyous journey of creating tunes that make hearts sing and build a world that echoes with harmony.
Master of Musical Magic: When I’m not jet-setting across the map, you can catch me tickling the ivories of a piano, weaving soulful melodies on the organ, or strumming stories on my trusty guitar. Whether it’s a serene Sunday service, a lively jazz event, or the backdrop to a
celebration, I’m there, making the world a little more musical. Music Director, Teacher, Producer: My passion for music isn’t confined to performances alone. I find immense joy in directing a choir, giving lessons, and producing, sharing the magic of music with others. The stage is my canvas, and every note is a stroke in the masterpiece of life. Outdoorsman Extraordinaire: When the music takes a pause, you’ll likely find me casting a line into the great outdoors or constructing something with my hands. Whether it’s fishing for inspiration by the riverbank or building dreams in my workshop, I find solace and creativity in nature. So, whether I’m orchestrating melodies that resonate with the soul or crafting adventures in the wilderness, life with JayBird is a symphony of sounds and a canvas of creation. With a passport that’s seen more action than a blockbuster movie, and a heart as vast as the cultures I’ve encountered, I’m In the pursuit of creating spaces where the essence of Black History and Culture thrives, I co-founded JayBird.
